Everything from Thursday's call is built and on the preview.
- The header. Bigger logo, the name under it, and the 5.0 Google mark beside the menu. The space is filled.
- Bathroom first. The selection board opens on the hall bath, then the kitchen, on the home page and on its own page.
- Your area. A page each for Harford County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City and Cecil County. Nothing outside those four.
- Flooring. Collections and colors only. No supplier named anywhere on the site.
- A short request form and the "Ask Chuck" chat on all 21 pages.
- Your October report landed in your inbox this morning, 21 pages.
- Squarespace access is in hand, so going live is on our side now.
Two ways to go live. Either one works.
Live this week
The site goes on idealrestorationsmd.com with the cleaned hallway photo holding the hero spot. The day your photo lands, it is swapped in. Every day on the old site is a day the new one is not working for you.
Wait for the photos
We hold the launch until your hero photo arrives, then go live with it in place. Nothing changes for you in the meantime.
Either way, your email keeps working exactly as it does today. We touch the website records only.
What happens the day it goes live.
- 1The switchYour address points to the new site. The old Squarespace site stays untouched in your account as a fallback.
- 2You get a textThe moment it is up, with the live link, so you can open it on your phone.
- 3Leads turn onEvery form and chat message goes to ctrupia@idealrestorationsmd.com and an instant text to your cell. Add anyone else who should get them.
- 4Google is toldGoogle gets the new sitemap and is asked to re-read every page. It takes Google days to weeks to catch up, and we watch it.
What a normal month looks like.
- Any dayText a changeSmall changes are live the same day. Anything that needs building ships in that Friday's release.
- FridaysThe releaseNew pages, the bathroom board with your real products, anything bigger you asked for that week.
- The 1stYour reportVisits, calls, texts, requests and where you stand on Google, in plain words.
- NextThe rest of Growth, one piece at a timeThe phone answered day and night with a message slip after each call, a text back on any missed call, bookings that land on your calendar, review requests timed for when people say yes. We set each one up with you after the site is live.
The one thing that moves the map fastest.
The review link is in your phone from Thursday. Send it to your last finished job today, and to every job as it closes. Thirteen to one hundred and twelve is the gap, and it closes one happy customer at a time.
What we need, and the easiest way to send it.
